Section I / Children’s Growing Classes (Sponsored by Drumbeg Gardening Club)
Points gained in these classes will not go towards winning a cup. There will be rosettes for the first three places in each class and certificates for entrants.

4 -9 YEARS
80* A Cress Creature – cress growing in a recycled/ decorated container - max size 20cm x 10cm 81 Flowers or veg. growing in an old shoe, trainer or welly boot.

10 – 15YRS
82* Four carrots growing in a can or pot
83 Flowers/ veg. growing in an old shoe, trainer or welly boot.
*Classes 80 and 82 must be grown from seeds.

Do make sure you place “not for sale” cards with any item NOT to be sold in the auction.
Programme for Produce Tent
Show entries accepted at exhibition tent between 08.30am and 10.30am only.
All exhibits MUST be presented with a completed Entry Form and ready for display when registering at the tent.
Judging 11.30 am onwards
Tent open to the public: - 1.30pm approx.
Presentation of trophies 3:30pm
Auction: 4.00pm approx. (All proceeds to the Games fund.)
Entry forms will be available locally before Games Day and on the morning of the show.
Please bring a completed form with your entries to avoid queueing.
Paper plates and sand will be provided for exhibits in Section C: - Vegetables.
All entries MUST be collected by 4:30pm; otherwise they will be disposed of.

SHOW RULES
• Exhibits must be from individuals
• Exhibits in section A, B and C must have been grown by the exhibitor for at least two months.
• Sections G, H and I must be child's / children's own work
• All classes are open to non-residents of Assynt.
• Sections D, F, G, H and I - completed in last 12 months
• Every reasonable care will be taken to safeguard exhibits, vases etc...But the organisers cannot be responsible for loss or damage.
• The Judge’s decision is final.
There is always keen rivalry between entrants to the various Flower, Produce and Craft Show competitor. Prizes are awarded for, amongst other things, flower arrangements, home grown vegetables, home made preserves, home baking, and arts & crafts.
All entries are displayed in the Craft & Produce tent and many items are auctioned to visitors once judging and presentation of the awards are completed.
