TRACK & FIELD
Track & Field events usually begin at 12.15pm once the Games have been officially opened by the Chieftain.
All events are listed in the Games programme and are open for anyone wanting to enter on the day.
There are a number of informal races including the Sack Race, Egg-and-Spoon Race, Three-Legged race for all age groups, and at the end of the day Tug-of-War.
In addition to our Hill Race as of 2019 The MacRae Hill Race - a longer, advanced hill race was established in memory of Allan MacRae, the remarkable and highly respected co-founder of the Assynt Crofters and winner of the Ben Nevis Race.
The winner will claim the new Allan MacRae trophy.
